Next Step Counselling is here to support people of all ages and all walks of life all around Canada (excluding ON, NS, NB, and PEI)!
We are a virtual counselling office (video or phone calls) for children as young as 5 years old, teens, and adults. We also travel to communities in the peace region of Alberta to provide in-person counselling for children and teens.
Virtual counselling works! It is effective and convenient.
Get help during nap time or after the kids are in bed.
You can continue counselling when you’re home or away at work.
Provide support for your teen without having to wrangle siblings in the waiting room.

Hi! I’m Emilee and I am a graduate of Briercrest Seminary with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Before I started counselling I used my background of Early Childhood Education to work with children in daycare, playschool settings as well as a nanny. These years working with children and their families led me to counselling as a way to support entire families by supporting the individual members.
I am honoured to walk with individuals and/or families through life, and its inevitable wounds, in order to see health and growth in life. I love to see unhealthy patterns changed, and healthy coping skills mastered. My goal is to be a support and a partner in healing. A place to dump what is overwhelming. To provide a place to be heard understood and encouraged for all clients regardless of age, orientation, religion, ethnicity or history.
